Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Acceptance of Minutes

The minutes of the April meeting were approved.

Public Access

Pat reported that the City Council will have its first reading of the Non-Motorized Transportation Plan Supplement on May 16. Both Pat and Lynn plan to attend to give comment on the importance of adequate signage Downtown and Uptown to separate pedestrians and bicyclists and to thank the NMTB and City Staff for their hard work on the Supplement.

Pat said that the Hospital has published a new map of the interiors of the buildings excluding the grounds. She said that there are some inaccuracies on the map and we’re not sure if it is available on the Hospital’s Website. Lynn said that the new interior signage has not been installed yet

Treasury/Fundraising

Bonnie reported that the current fund balance is $1754.55.

New Business

The work on evaluating restaurants will be completed within a few weeks and the final printing of the 2011 DASH Accessible Restaurant Brochure will be done by the first of June. Not only will we have the Brochures but also window stickers to designate fully accessible restaurants.

Once we get the final cost projections for the printing, we will meet in Executive session to approve the final expenditures.
