Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Acceptance of Minutes

Due to technical difficulties, the minutes for the August meeting are unavailable.

Public Access

Lynn and Marion reported on a meeting held with Paula Dowdle of Jefferson Health Care and the Hospital’s architect regarding their Master Plan process. We reiterated our recommendations on how to improve pedestrian accessibility to the Hospital campus, particularly in view of the pending sidewalk project along Sheridan St. The Hospital is not yet in position to specify when their Master Plan may be implemented but intended to meet with concerned groups to gather information.

The Board discussed whether to post relevant information about the new policies recently implemented by the State Parks regarding fees. Marion agreed to draft a notice which we can post on the home page of our web site

Treasury/Fundraising

Bonnie reported that the Emergency Account balance is $392.87 and the regular Account is $930.79.

Other Business

The Board has decided to begin work on a brochure covering the accessibility of cultural and entertainment facilities and venues in Jefferson County. The initial plan is to publish in the Spring of 2012.
